The Vancouver Fringe returns for another season of new, original theatre works, banging club nights and offbeat performance art outside the ordinary for 10 days in September.
Running Sept. 4-14 in and around Granville Island, the festival boasts 87 shows that can be attended with single or MultiBuy Pass options.
Of course, whatever you decide to see could be hit or miss. The whole point of the Fringe vibe is to take a chance on a creator’s particular inspiration and see if it connects with your tastes.
Sometimes, the festival presents shows that go on to have long runs at professional theatres. A case in point is the Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) presently selling out its run in the second tent at Bard on the Beach. First showcased by the Reduced Shakespeare Company
