Taco Bell is taking a trip back in time with the nationwide return of some of its most nostalgic menu items, rolling out a special “Y2K menu” starting Sept. 9.

The lineup includes the Double Decker Taco, 7-Layer Burrito, Chili Cheese Burrito and the Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco. One of the most highly anticipated returns, the Caramel Apple Empanada, will be available for early access Sept. 2-8 to Taco Bell Rewards members who order through the chain’s app.

To score early access, customers must download the Taco Bell app or create a free Rewards account online. The empanada, a cult favorite discontinued in 2019, is expected to be a key draw for longtime fans of the brand.
