(KIMT) -- The unofficial end to summer will not go down without a fight! Generic summertime thunderstorms will be the theme through Labor Day Weekend, but no widespread precipitation is expected.

Spotty thunderstorm development will occur each afternoon/evening as upper-level support continues to favor an unsettled atmosphere. Decent warmth and moisture will be two main sources of fuel for storms to use Saturday and Sunday.

If you have plans to head to the last few days of the Minnesota State Fair, conditions will be prime to do so. Seasonable temperatures with highs around the 80° and low-end chances for showers/storms. Have a way to receive weather alerts in case heavy rain or lightning is reported near the fairgrounds!
