Both Duluth firefighters and nurses in three Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic buildings reached new deals. A three-year contract for firefighters was approved by Duluth city councilors Monday after their previous collective-bargaining agreement expired last year, as the News Tribune reported . For the nurses, tentative agreements have the full recommendation of the Minnesota Nurses Association union’s bargaining committees, the newspaper also reported .
