The Israeli flag will no longer be displayed at schools in Beverly Hills during Jewish American Heritage Month after the district's superintendent halted the plan.
The decision comes just days after the Board of Education voted Tuesday night to display the flag for one month every year to show support for the Jewish community.

The school district’s superintendent says he is worried about safety and security for students if the flags were to be displayed.
The superintendent said that until further notice, only the United States and State of California flags will be set up at campuses.
