Trent Alexander-Arnold has been dropped by England manager Thomas Tuchel for September's international fixtures.

Tuchel named his squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers on Friday.

England host Andorra on September 6 before a trip to Serbia three days later.

The biggest surprise is the omission of right-back Alexander-Arnold, who left Liverpool for Real Madrid in a high-profile transfer in June.

Alexander-Arnold has endured a difficult start at the Bernabeu, generating negative reviews on his LaLiga debut and dropping to the bench for Madrid's second game of the season.

Newcastle full-back Tino Livramento has been given the nod over Alexander-Arnold, while other notable omissions include Jack Grealish, Ivan Toney, Phil Foden and Harry Maguire.
