A 17-year-old boy is still fighting for his life two days after a double stabbing on Old Kent Road, the Metropolitan Police has confirmed. He was knifed outside the Cantium Retail Park just before 10.45pm on Wednesday, prompting a major investigation overnight.
A second 17-year-old boy was also stabbed but he has since been discharged from hospital, the force added. Officers arrested a third teenager, also aged 17, on suspicion of attempted murder following a pursuit near the busy A-road the same night.
He has now been released on bail pending further enquiries. The shocking incident marks London's second multi-victim stabbing in as many days.
