BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - You probably know him best for his Emmy-winning “ Super Seniors ,” and Joe Carroll has worked at WCAX so long, he may soon qualify to be one!

Now, Joe is celebrating a milestone at Channel 3-- 40 years.

Joe is not only the reporter and producer of “Super Seniors,” he’s also the chief photographer at WCAX. He has spent years traveling the roads of Vermont, photographing just about every town in the state.

Joe grew up in Rutland and graduated from Lyndon State College. He started working at WCAX when he was just 22.

“It’s been a treat to work here and work with all the people,” Joe said.

Congratulations on 40 years, Joe!
