One person is dead following a two-vehicle collision near Elmwood Thursday morning.

South Bruce OPP responded to the scene at approximately 11:30 a.m. along with the Elmwood Fire Department and Grey Bruce EMS.

Two passenger vehicles crashed on Bruce Road 10 near Dankert Lake Road.

A 69-year-old female from Arran-Elderslie, a passenger in one of the vehicles, was pronounced deceased, and the two drivers were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

The investigation by South Bruce OPP is continuing, with assistance from the OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) Team.

Bruce Road 10 was closed between Concession Road 4 and Concession Road 6 for the investigation. The roadway reopened at 8:15 p.m. Thursday night.
