Davenport Man Sentenced to Six Years for Fentanyl Trafficking

ORLANDO, Fla. – A Davenport man has been sentenced to six years in federal prison for his role in a fentanyl trafficking operation. Jose David Figueroa Pacheco, 33, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Paul W. Byron after being found guilty by a jury on June 11, 2025.

The sentence follows a joint investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, which targeted firearms and narcotics traffickers in the Orlando area. According to trial testimony and evidence, an undercover officer arranged to purchase a firearm and fentanyl pills from Figueroa Pacheco’s codefendant, Alberto Ismael Salinas Valencia.
