BEIJING (Reuters) -China’s top leaders called for greater efforts to enhance work safety and natural disaster prevention, according to the readout of a meeting of the Politburo on Friday.

The Politburo, a top policy decision-making body of the ruling Communist Party, said in the meeting that China should “make every effort in emergency rescue and disaster relief and promptly and properly resettle people affected,” according to the readout released by the state-run news agency Xinhua.
