BISMARCK — North Dakota's logo celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States has been unveiled.
The anniversary will be on July 4, 2026.
The red, white, blue and gold badge-style design includes a prairie horizon, standing wheat and western meadowlark bird, reflecting the "people, landscapes and values that define the Peace Garden State," according to a release from FullTilt Marketing, which partnered with the ND250 commission to come up with the design.
The ND250 commission is overseen by the State Historical Society of North Dakota. Its purpose is to coordinate celebrations and projects related to the anniversary.
Some items include "250 Community Initiative" grants; educational resources for classrooms, libraries and cities; and family-oriented events at the North Dakota He
