RICHLAND COUNTY, Wis. (WMTV) - Two people are dead after a crash on Thursday between a UTV and a pickup truck, the Richland County Sheriff’s Office said Friday.

Authorities received a 911 for a truck vs. UTV crash on County Highway CC at Hanko Drive.

As the sheriff’s office responded, they requested a Med Flight because an occupant of the UTV was not responsive.

RCSO learned the UTV was driven by James Koelker with Sandra Koelker as a passenger.

The two were driving south on Hanko Drive and stopped at a stop sign before crossing over County Highway CC, but did not yield to the oncoming pickup truck, officials said.

The pickup truck driver struck the UTV, causing it to roll down the road.
