Urs Kalecinski ‘s sudden move from Classic Physique to the Men’s Open has the bodybuilding world talking. In a recent YouTube video shared on August 24, 2025, judge Terrick El Guindy discussed Kalecinski’s switch and outlined what he needs to improve to find success.

From 2022-2024, Kalecinski earned third place at the Classic Physique Olympia . Given that only Mike Sommerfeld and Chris Bumstead placed ahead of him last year, Kalecinski’s move to the Open shocked fans. Kalecinski revealed that his body wanted to grow and that it didn’t make sense to shred down and drop muscle for Classic moving forward.
