OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Here’s a list of activities and events coming up in the Omaha metro this Labor Day weekend.

On night, the public will have a chance to send off an Omaha boxing star for one of the biggest fights of his career . There will be a celebration for Terence “Bud” Crawford Friday before he heads to Las Vegas for a Super Middleweight showdown with undisputed champion Canelo Alvarez. The sendoff is happening at Stitson Park in Aksarben at 6 p.m. Friday. The fight will be broadcast live on Netflix on September 13 from Allegiant Stadium.

Catch five-time GRAMMY Award winner CeeLo Green at the Unity Fest in downtown Omaha. The festival aims to bring communities together through music, culture, and as it says in the name: unity. It will run from 7-10 p.m. at the Gene Leahy
