RAYWICK, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A Marion County community is preparing to say goodbye to a firefighter who died while serving others.
Raywick Fire Lieutenant Brian Hatt passed away Monday at UofL Hospital. Kentucky State Police say he was responding to a call on August 22 when his fire truck overturned on Highway 527.
Hatt, an Army veteran, had served with the Raywick Fire Department for 12 years.
Visitation will be held Friday and Saturday at the Marion County Events Center in Lebanon, followed by his funeral service.
