RICHMOND, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Roadwork along Interstate 75 in Madison County is moving into a new phase.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says crews are shifting pavement work from the southern section to the northern section of the project — between mile markers 92 and 98 near the Clays Ferry Bridge. The $13.5 million project is designed to improve safety and traffic flow.
All lanes will remain open for the Labor Day weekend. After the holiday, drivers should expect single-lane closures during the day.
The work is expected to be finished by late October.
