HARLEM, Manhattan (PIX11) -- A 30-year-old man was stabbed to death during a fight with his rival on a Harlem street early Friday morning, according to police and sources.
Authorities found the victim with seven stab wounds near 380 Convent Ave. at around 1:25 a.m., according to the NYPD and sources. The man was rushed to the hospital but could not be saved.
Sources said the victim and the suspect knew each other and got into an argument before the attack. The victim was sitting at the location when the suspect spotted him and began a war of words before crossing the street to confront him, sources said.
The men argued and the suspect allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed his rival several times, according to sources.
