SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) - We have an update on a Pennington County Homicide investigation.

30-year-old Nicholas Selig has now been booked into jail. According to online records, he's being held for first degree murder.

Authorities found him and brought him in for questioning yesterday.

Nicholas Selig is accused of killing his father Vernon, and then leaving his body just southwest of Rapid City. He has no previous criminal history in South Dakota.
