DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — Note: The video is from April 14.

Following an update released from the Court of Common Pleas, Cody A. Balmer -- the suspect accused of setting a fire at the residence of Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro -- waived his right to a preliminary hearing that was scheduled for Wednesday, September 3.

Along with waiving the preliminary hearing, Balmer also waived his appearance at his formal arraignment on October 3, court records state.

It's the latest in a series of hearing delays and cancellations that followed Balmer's arrest in April.

Balmer is now being charged with 22 counts of arson and 22 counts of reckless endangerment, after District Attorney Fran Chardo amended the complaint to reflect a charge for each of the people inside the governor's mansion at th
