LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is dead after being stabbed in southwest Louisville late Thursday night.
Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) officers responded to reports of a stabbing in the 9500 block of Johnsontown Way just after 10 p.m.
That's close to the Greenbelt Highway in southwest Jefferson County.
When officers arrived, LMPD said they found a man with multiple stab wounds.
First responders transported to UofL Hospital in critical condition, police said. Hours later, LMPD sent an update that he had died in the hospital.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is leading this investigation.
All parties are believed to be accounted for and charges are pending, according to police.
