Police in the Los Angeles area are in pursuit of a driver behind the wheel of an alleged stolen vehicle on Friday morning.

In addition, police were heard calling in paramedics following a possible hit-and-run involving the fleeing motorist.

The suspect crashed around 9:45 a.m. and began fleeing on foot in the area of W. Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard and Broadway Place in the Historic South-Central neighborhood.
