University of Miami linebacker Adarius Hayes was arrested Friday in connection with a crash that authorities said left two children and a woman dead back in May.

Investigators said Hayes, 20, turned himself in to the Largo Police Department on Friday and was transported to the Pinellas County Jail.

Jail records show he is facing three counts of vehicular homicide and one count of reckless driving with serious bodily injury. His bond information wasn’t immediately available.

Police said the crash occurred May 10 around 1:43 p.m. at the intersection of Orange View Drive and Ridge Road.

They said Hayes was driving a Dodge Durango at a high rate of speed and made “aggressive maneuvers” through traffic shortly before colliding with a 2017 Kia Soul.
