FRUITA, Colo. (KREX) - The Colorado National Monument Association (CNMA) announced Friday that Ashley Ojala will be its new executive director.
Ojala joined the organization this July. CNMA stated in a news release that Ojala is passionate about connecting people with the outdoors. She also has a background in outdoor recreation, tourism and nonprofit marketing.
“Ashley’s energy, vision and commitment to our community make her a perfect fit to lead CNMA into its next chapter,” interim Board Chair Sue Conry said in a news release. “Her enthusiasm for both the Monument and the people who care about it is inspiring.”
Ojala said she is thrilled to take over the role.
