SACRAMENTO, Calif. —

Sacramento’s Burger Patch, which specializes in plant-based burgers, sides and shakes, is closing its last remaining restaurant after Labor Day.

“After more than 8 years, nearly one million meals, and countless memories, the time has come for us to say goodbye,” Burger Patch’s owners said in a post on its website . “This decision was not easy, but we make it with hearts full of gratitude. Ultimately, we couldn’t make the numbers work to continue on.”
