WEST PLAINS, Mo. (KY3) - The city of West Plains hires a new police chief.
Todd Stovall will join the police department October first. Stovall worked for the Paragould, Ar. Police Department for the past 35 years, serving as police chief since 2009.
In a news release from the city of West Plains Stovall said, “I am honored to join the West Plains Police Department and serve this community. My goal is to strengthen trust between officers and residents, build on the department’s successes, and ensure that West Plains remains a safe place to live, work, and raise a family.”
Stovall replaces Stephen Monticelli, who reitred as the West Plains police chief earlier this year.
