More speeders have been caught pushing well past the limits in the province, this time in Labrador.

A 58-year-old man was stopped and ticketed by RCMP on Thursday after he was caught driving 57 km/h over the speed limit along Route 510, between Red Bay and Lodge Bay.

He was clocked doing 137 km/h in an 80 km/h zone, and in addition to a hefty fine he immediately lost his licence for seven days.

The day before that, Forteau RCMP stopped a 25-year-old man who was going twice the speed limit in the community of West St. Modeste.

He was also ticketed and had his licence suspended for a week.
