EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Michigan State hockey will play Penn State in an outdoor game at Beaver Stadium in University Park, Pennsylvania, on January 31, 2026, Penn State University announced Friday.

The matchup will be the first Big Ten hockey game played in Beaver Stadium, the second-largest stadium in the United States, with a capacity of 106,572.

The Spartans have won back-to-back conference championships and will face a Penn State squad looking to unseat them atop the conference, with the Nittany Lions featuring freshman Gavin McKenna, the projected top pick in next year’s NHL Draft.

The game is scheduled for January 31, 2026.
