Jacques-Cartier Catholic School delays opening
Back-to-school will be delayed by one day at Jacque-Cartier Catholic School at 377 Maple St. N.

The school announced Friday the decision to welcome students back on Wednesday, Sept. 3 is due to unfinished exterior construction which began in June.
Welcome interviews for parents of kindergarten students will take place as scheduled, on Tuesday, Sept. 2, but day care for that day will be cancelled.
In a post to social media, the school stated the goal is to ensure the school is clean and safe for students, and apologized for any inconvenience to families.
