Hard Rock Casino Rockford is hosting a dealer class hiring event. The event will take place on Sept. 2 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the casino, 7801 E. State St., Rockford.

Attendees can interview for dealer training positions, with some hirings made on the spot, according to a community announcement. The paid training program covers blackjack, carnival games and craps and lasts five to eight weeks.
