Every 14 days, Inova Blood Donor Services will deliver fresh whole blood from the blood bank at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore to Carroll County.

Neighboring jurisdictions with prehospital blood programs are expected to join this collaboration in the coming weeks.

The goal is to expand access to whole blood and streamline the replenishment process.
