Every year, millions of visitors head to national parks to set out on hiking trails that wind through dense forests, camp beneath the stars, and experience the thrill of spotting wildlife in its natural habitat (from a safe distance, of course). For most, that's exactly what happens. But for some, the trip ends in tragedy.
