BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) -- It’s Labor Day weekend, and travelers should expect busier airports as people take advantage of the long holiday.

This year is no different. Flyers will notice extra buzz in the terminals as LSU fans head out for the big Clemson game. Last year, the airport added three extra flights because of high demand from the holidays and LSU football. This weekend, they’re doing the same with more flights to Greenville-Spartanburg.

The airport hosted a Kickoff Tailgate Party and brought game-day spirit to the terminal.
