Ever bemoaned the slow waits of the MBTA or the commuter rail, or perhaps taken for granted the convenience of train travel? “Passengers,” a circus show by the troupe The 7 Fingers, may have you feeling differently, and perhaps even reflecting fondly on the intimacy and power of train travel.

Shana Carroll, the writer, director and choreographer of “Passengers” – a multiform show of acrobatics with music and text – explores train travel as “a metaphor for a lifetime, and all the beautiful, unexpected things that happen along the way, and the times when the ride is cut too short, and sad departures and happy arrivals.”
