BRAINERD — Reining Chaos will send nine of its 12 members to the Minnesota State 4-H Drill Competition on Sept. 14.

With the state fairgrounds coliseum under renovation, this year's state competitions have been split over two weekends with the horse show taking place in Cannon Falls and the drill competition in Sauk Centre.

The drill competition is open to spectators at the fairgrounds in Sauk Centre and will begin with opening ceremonies at 8:45 a.m. Then competition will begin with the large freestyle division, followed by compulsory division and then the limited freestyle division.

Small freestyle will commence after a break. With more time in the schedule, no regional competition was held this year, allowing all teams to register for the state competition.
