In a radio interview that aired Thursday, Karen Read spoke at length about life since she was acquitted of killing her boyfriend, the likelihood of suing the powers behind the failed prosecution, and the need to illuminate the public about what it took to survive two trials.
Read also had strong and direct words for Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey and Massachusetts State Police , who brought the charges against her twice.
“You lost,” Read said. “You lost, big time. And you know what you did. You know what you’ve done.”
