SCOTT CO., Iowa (KWQC) - The man charged in the death of Trudy Appleby is pleading not guilty in a drug case in Scott County.
He was charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver, one for meth and the other marijuana.
He has a pretrial conference Oct. 3.
Jamison Fisher, 50, indicted earlier this month in the Appleby case in Henry County, Illinois, is currently being held in the Scott County Jail the drug case.
He told a magistrate would not waive extradition to Illinois on Aug. 26, according to court documents. The magistrate ordered that a warrant be issued, committing Fisher to the custody of the Scott County Sheriff’s Office for 30 days to enable extradition through the governor’s office.
A hearing date on extradition wasn’t set as of Aug. 26. The previous week, a
