An officer with Central Hastings OPP charged two motorists with stunt driving during the overnight hours.

In a post to X, the first motorist was caught before midnight on Thursday and the second was just before 2 a.m. on Friday.

Both were on Highway 7 in the Tweed area, where the speed limit is 80.

One driver was caught going 137 km/h and the other 135 km/h.

The vehicles were impounded and each driver had their licence suspended.

Both are scheduled to appear in court.
