Alabama football will have its starting right guard back for its season opener against Florida State.
Alabama right guard Jaeden Roberts has been cleared from concussion protocol and will play against the Seminoles Saturday, Aug. 30, the University of Alabama 's Name, Image and Likeness collective announced.
Roberts missed both of Alabama's fall scrimmages as he navigated concussion protocol. His status was "still in question" as of Kalen DeBoer's game week press conference Aug. 25.
During his weekly SEC media call appearance, DeBoer said Roberts "hasn't taken any team reps" and was "still making that progress" through concussion protocol.
