I guess in time for TIFF and the back-to-school season, Fizz Mobile (owned by Videotron) is driving around downtown Toronto in a green food truck offering bubble tea and games.

The truck will roam the streets from Aug. 28 to Sept. 6. There doesn’t seem to be an official press release, but a sponsored article on Now Toronto says that you can play a game to win a prize. There will also be bubble tea and a “cute reusable straw, all part of Fizz’s generosity to the city.” It seems like this will all be free from this wording, but it doesn’t explicitly say.

It appears the company is trying harder to make a bigger push outside of Quebec, where it started. This makes some sense, since Videotron now owns Freedom Mobile as well, it has a real shot at becoming as large as Bell, Rogers and Telus so
