POINT PLEASANT BOROUGH, NJ – A 42-year-old man from Point Pleasant Borough is facing multiple charges after investigators say they uncovered disturbing evidence of child sexual abuse material being created and shared from his home, which was being used as a foster residence.

John Olson was arrested on August 22 after a joint investigation led by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Unit, working with the Ocean County Regional SWAT Team and Point Pleasant Police Department. Officials said Olson was initially charged with distribution and possession of child sexual abuse material following a search of his home.
