If Ben Shelton’s life is a movie, Scott Perelman believes it has a clear scene No. 1.

As a former volunteer assistant coach for Florida men’s tennis, he remembers it well.

It was May 22, 2021 , at the USTA National Campus…Championship point in Orlando. Shelton is on the court. His dad, Bryan, is on the sidelines as the Gators head coach.

The return from the Baylor player went long, and the Gators were national champions.
