BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (FOX Carolina) - The North Carolina Education Lottery said a Buncombe County woman won $2 million in a lottery drawing.

Carmen Smith of Arden bought a $2 Million Vault ticket from the Circle K on Boylston Highway in Mills River, according to lottery officials.

Officials report she chose a lump sum of $1.2 million over an annuity of $100,000 over 20 years. After required tax withholdings, she took home $861,006.

One $2 million prize and four $100,000 prizes remain to be claimed in the $2 Million Vault game, lottery officials said.
