Entering its fifth year, the Bizerkeley Food Fest has expanded from a one-day festival to a week of events centered around vegan products.
The festival kicks off Labor Day, Sept. 1, with a screening of the documentary “They’re Trying To Kill Us” at the Berkeley Sports Basement and closes with the vegan food festival on Sept. 7 at the North Berkeley BART station.
The food headliners are El Compa Vegano from Los Angeles, which will be serving a vegan seafood boil, Voodoo Vegan of New Orleans, serving Cajun vegan dishes, and Fungi Foods, which Hazel said “makes the best mushroom burger I’ve ever eaten in my life.”
In addition to the food vendors, there will also be several craft, clothing, and wellness companies with booths at the festival, and live performances from Stunna Man 02, Uromast
