EUGENE — The 2025 football season has arrived.
No. 7 Oregon begins its second season in the Big Ten and fourth of the Dan Lanning era with massive roster turnover from last year’s conference champions, including at quarterback, running back, receiver and nine spots on defense. Only three starters return from the offense and defense combined, making Saturday the debut for a lot of Ducks.
Montana State, last year’s FCS runner-up, enters as a four-touchdown underdog and will debut a new starting QB as well. The Bobcats were the top rushing team in all of college football last season though and if they’re going to find any success against the Ducks it will likely need to be on the ground.
Oregon (0-0) vs. Montana State (0-0)
