RCMP in Lewisporte are investigating after a man exposed himself to a woman in the town.

The report was received around 8:30 Wednesday night.

Police say a woman was walking along Station Road when a vehicle pulled up next to her and slowed down.

The driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, got out and exposed himself before driving off again.

The vehicle is described as a black GMC SUV, possibly a Yukon.

The woman said she believes she may have previously seen the vehicle two other times.

RCMP say they are aware of social media posts related to the incident, but are encouraging anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers directly.
