Carol Ann (Hancharik ) Jones, age 73, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on August 27, 2025. She was born on June 9, 1952, in Ithaca, New York, and was the cherished daughter of Martin and Mary Hancharik.

Carol lived a life marked by strength, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family. On November 21, 1995, she married Roger E. Jones, with whom she shared nearly 30 years of life's simple moments. A proud mother, Carol found great joy in raising her daughter, Kristen Borgeson. She not only taught Kristen how to play softball but also coached her with heart and cheered her on every step of the way.
