Health authorities in Manatee County have again issued a water quality health advisory cautioning swimmers about high levels of fecal bacteria at Palma Sola South beach ahead of Labor Day weekend.
The Florida Department of Health in Manatee County issued the advisory on Friday afternoon, Aug. 29, after water samples collected at Palma Sola South on Monday and Wednesday, did not meet recreational safety standards because of elevated levels of Enterococcus bacteria.
