Police in Auburn, Indiana, had an unexpected early morning adventure Wednesday when they chased a loose horse through a residential area, according to WPTA in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Video from a police vehicle and an officer's bodycam shows police spotting the horse running freely and pursuing her on neighborhood roads. Eventually, as seen in the video, they managed to corral her in a grassy area.

They quickly contacted the horse's owner, who arrived shortly after to take the animal home safely.

Officers had previously caught the same horse on Monday after it was seen running
