OAKWOOD, Ill. (WAND) - An Oakwood man was arrested for a burglary at a Danville business earlier this month.

The Danville Police Department said in a press release that officers responded to a report of a burglary just after 5 a.m. Aug. 18 at Snapper's Bar & Grill in Danville.

DPD detectives began an investigation and identified the suspect as David Finley of Oakwood.

The release said that detectives got an arrest warrant for Finley on Aug. 22.

At 2:07 p.m. Friday, the Oakwood Police Department found Finley and later took him into custody after he tried to flee on foot.

Finley was booked on his warrant and brought to the Vermilion County Jail.
